Mission & Overview:
The primary objectives for the "New Music from the Left Coast of Georgia Fundraiser and
Showcase" are to raise awareness and money for the Georgia Music Hall of Fame as well as
kick-start the statewide musical careers of top talent from the Columbus area.

MIC believes
many of these musicians will move on to be part of Georgia Music Magazine's 2010
promotions: "Georgia's Next 50” and “Georgia's Touring 24". MIC will work diligently to
rally the regional fanbase for our featured artists and groups. We hope this event will result in
a more committed community mindset to support our musicians - much like we do with
sports teams - in order to help them advance to the next level in their professional careers.
