Born and raised in Waco, Texas, Mace Hibbard continues in the tradition of Cannonball Adderley, Charlie Parker, and Stan Getz, while drawing inspiration from the more contemporary players such as Kenny Garrett, Chris Potter, and Branford Marsalis.
