Jazz Society: Sunday, June 10th Meet and Jam

The Columbus Jazz Society is honored to have Dr. Gordon Vernick host our June 10th concert and jam session.

Dr. Vernick is Coordinator of Jazz Studies at Georgia State University. As a professional trumpet player, Gordon Vernick has performed with such world-renown jazz artists as Kenny Werner, Clare Fischer, John Hart, Kevin Hays, Conrad Herwig, Marc Copland, Randy Brecker, Paul McCandless, and many others.

Additional players: KEVIN BALES, piano; ROBERT DICKSON, bass; ROBERT DICKSON, bass; DAVID MORGAN, drums.

The concert begins at 6:00 pm and the jam session begins at 8:00. Musicians are invited to bring their instruments and sit in -- anything could happen!
